Blavatnik Fellow
I am a Blavatnik Fellow in the GBernardes group laboratories in Cambridge. With my background in computational drug discovery, I plan to help with screening and designing antibody conjugates that could be used for different purposes than traditional conjugates.
Background
I did my B.Sc. in mathematics and computer science at Tel-Aviv University, Israel. I then did my masters in bioinformatics with Prof. Haim Wolfson, also at Tel-Aviv University, where I work on designing inhibitory peptides for protein-protein interactions.
I did my PhD in the lab of Dr Nir London in the Weizmann Institute, Israel, where I worked on computational protocols for two uprising domains in drug discovery, namely, covalent inhibitors (such as Ibrutinib, Afatinib, etc.), and protein degraders (PROTACs). For both of these fields, I developed protocols by combining novel ideas with end-to-end implementations. I'm also play an active role in the Rosetta macromolecular modelling community, both as a user and a developer.
