Sir Henry Wellcome Research Fellow

My main research interests lie at the interface of experimental and theoretical techniques to obtain atomic-resolution understanding of the structure and dynamics of nucleo-protein complexes. During my Ph. D., I studied the dynamics of the HIV-1 TAR RNA using NMR spectroscopy data in combination with molecular dynamics simulations. For my postdoctoral research, I have now taken up the long-standing challenge of determining the structure of the whole HIV-1 ribonucleoprotein transactivation complex (TAC) by X-ray crystallography.
